Another option, in Mystic's configuration, you can set the emulation to ANSI only (instead of "Detect" or whatever the default is), and that should hang up on them if they're using anything but ANSI. It will also display a screen or some text stating that fact.

If you don't know what that command does, why are you running it?

I've never had to use that switch in the 20+ years I've used Mystic. So I can't imagine it's anything useful..?
