I wonder if this is more to do with the lack of people about with the skills to do such things? I'd love to be able to code and contribute but I don't really have those skills and I think I am not alone. That said, there are some very talented people active in FTN networks like this one and others, that do have some coding chops that could be bought to bear on such things. I'm certainly open to trying a fsxNet 2.0 running under a totally different infrastructure if/when/should someone develop something we could trial. It almost feels like a Terminator moment to me :) 'The future is not set and is what we make it" It's more the case of someone(s) having the time and interest to devote to such an endeavor and collaborate on such things. Sure if there are folks/sysops that are happy with the status quo and the settings/direction that had been about for many years, all well and good. But if there are people interested in being experiential in deigning and developing new ways of running messaging/file sharing networks based upon what is seen to be the best bits of FTN blended with tools and ticks of today then I'm interested :) --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A46 2020/08/26 (Linux/64) * Origin: Agency BBS | Dunedin, New Zealand | agency.bbs.nz (21:1/101) .
