In my experience, the only times that innovation happens is when someone just pulls up their boot laces and develops it. Either fully working, or a prototype, but something that others can look at and use and play with. While discussing things is useful to a degree, I feel it's more useful when there is something concrete to discuss. Otherwise, everyone has different ideas on what they want, how they'd do it, etc. OK I guess there's one other way to achieve something, and that's to throw money at it. haha When you have no technical ability like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, you just pay people who *do* know what they're doing. There were a lot of great ideas in the thread over the last couple months, but as I say, until someone develops something, we'll just keep the circular discussions going for another 20 years. :) There are no shortage of people willing to play around with stuff once it's been written. How many people run several BBSs to play with different software, different' OSs, etc.. And then there's the X in fsX :) Paul would be all over new toys to play with. :D haha --- Talisman v0.35-dev (Linux/x86_64) * Origin: Lost Underground BBS (21:1/230) .
