To me it was explained as being a first ammendment thing, freedom of speech, 
even the Roy Witt Nazi-statements. Because it was getting so bad at times I 
talked with a US-based attorney about that and he concurred.
 
That was about the USA, Canadians always have been more docile and less 
troublesome.
