Hi Sam,

The FTSC members require a level compentcy to do their work which is why only
RC's can vote as they are assumed to have a better level of compentcy to judge
the canidates.

Having all of Fidonet being able to vote would just complicate the process.

Your RC should have asked for opinions from the nodes in his Region just like
mine did, but in the end it's his call.
