It seems to me that using such abbreviations can lead to some false positives and a noticeable amount of user typing errors.
Abbreviating a word from four letters is already above the trditional Fido laziness. ;)

Perhaps it would be better to use some kind of edit macro or edit completion for this. I am sure that something similar is possible by the Telegram client, like GoldEd do.
