That's a pretty good arrangement.  I have had to resort to 3rd  
party batteries for a couple of my Thinkpad laptops and they  
are just not as good with running time as were the OEM.

Nope. I'm too rural and too far away from the hustle and  
bustle of places like you describe.

actually needs to operate.
