TgM requires a phone number that can receive the initial registration passcode as a text to create an account. As for relevance to fidonet, the TgM gate that Stas @2:460/5858 has produced moves messages between the traditional FTN environment and TgM. The idea is that a TgM user can have quick and simple access to echomail on a smartphone. The TgM+gate approach is not much different what Jamnntp does to bring echomail to newsreader users. But unlike nntp or point-softare, TgM only requires one registration to get activated, and then if you have the TgM app installed on either a tablet, pc or smartphone, you can switch between any of those devices and be totally sync'd on all of them at any time. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.46 * Origin: The future is not what it used to be.
