Yeah, it gives another option.  Back when I was studying, that would have been
a great option - I once had a portable Google Drive client, that I kept on a
USB stick, which I could use to keep my assignments both backed up and synced
with my home PCs.  Worked really well.

Yes, it's not perfect, but certainly falls into the category of "good enough".
