   Okay, I suspect that some of the earlier ones (1987 through 1993,
 which I believe were all on the Private Records label) may be deleted,
 or at least harder to find now.  Anyway, I've got three of his ("XYZ",
 "Charming Snakes", and "The Last Dance of Mr. X") and I've heard two
 more besides.  They'd all fall into the category of jazz-rock fusion
 and the ones from 1990 onwards at least, are all pretty good.  He's
 definitely not a flashy player, but he's quite tasteful for an
 ex-rocker.  ;-)

   Of the two albums he made with the eccentric King Crimson guitarist,
 Robert Fripp, the first one ("I Advance Masked") is definitely the
 best.
   Speaking of innovative guitarists (as we were in another thread), I
 would think that Robert Fripp would warrant consideration for that list.

   Hmmm... that's one of the ones that had me intrigued, but I'm not
 an especially big fan of heavy blues-rock.  I pretty much got my fill
 of that back in the '70s.  I'll definitely have to audition that one
 before I hand over the $$.  Did you mention that he also had an
 all-instrumental album?  If so, which one is that?
