I finally decided to use the Curtis type B and get "used" to it. Actually, it doesn't take an awfully long time. A few hours to start with, and a QSO or so a day keeps one in practice. I don't like it, but I didn't want to use the outboard keyer I built from the Curtis chip back about 1983.
