For reasons unknown to us Joe Delahaye said thus to Gaylen Hintz:

 JD> Can you turn off the Crash or Direct flags for those nodes,
 JD> and have their mail set to HOLD as it is archived?

 I've now got their mail set to hold/direct  seems to be working well now. :)
