Synchronet isn't hard to do Fido.  Just follow the manual and it'll work.  It's 
one of the easier BBSes to set up Fido in, believe it or not.  I ran Synchronet 
before and I disagree with people that say it's hard to configure (if they 
think that's hard, they should try setting up Squish and Maximus-all text-based 
configs :).
