Subj : Email and other stuff with mbse To : All From : Vince Coen Date : Sun Nov 03 2019 04:26 pm Hello All! I have a need to send and receive netmails and emails. This is using a program written to process elists in a language that does not play nice with binary data unless the format is known, so. So I have found that sending to netmail address with a created file containing the msg or other text, I can just use mbmsg post. Receiving is a different matter as I would have liked to define an echo area as msg based and not Jam but mbse does not support anything other than Jam but is there a solution to read a given area looking for netmails addressed to blogs@2:250/1? or looking for three specific subject lines or some other way ? Next is doing the same by email say via postfix and or mailx. Here it is going to a specific POP3 account and saving them as text files with some specific filename format so that a program can search for them say in the inbound directory or another one. Like wise, sending replies out can be done may be using mailx as I am not too sure about using postfix with the example given in the manual under heading Internet Gateway at page 93. Any one any ideas ? Vince --- Mageia Linux v7.1 X64/Mbse v1.0.7.12A/GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-b20180707 * Origin: Air Applewood, The Linux Gateway to the UK & Eire (2:250/1) .
