Not all.  But far too many.

And businesses evolve over time.  I've see many dealerships started by the
father that the son has run into the ground.

The only different is time scale.  After several days, the snake needs to eat
again.  And if he's driven off all the food, he'll starve.

And Dealerships "bread and butter" is less auto sales, but more auto repair. 
And that is even more dependent on reputation.

But if we can bring back mental asylums, most of that minority will be out of
circulation (and unable to vote).

Realitically, most people simply want to live their lives, do their hobbies,
etc. without gov't interference.  The real problem is that there are people who
get into gov't who believe that they should control our lives.  That's the real
problem.
