Yup.  Hyundai took a bad PR hit on this.

It reminds me of a time when I was working at a GM location.  One of the union
monkeys, with too much time on his hands, put a sign in front of my co-worker's
Honda that said "Parking for American Made cars only".

Looking into the union parking lot, there were a bunch of Geo Metros and
Trackers - all made in Japan.  My co-worker's car?  Made in Flat Rock,
Michigan.
