That's what I'm seeing.

The moderate leftists are appalled at the shooting.  They are rethinking their
affiliations.  Classical liberals have already moved to the right because the
Left has moved so far to the left.  Even more Classical liberals are now
entering the Conservative camp now.

Far leftists are celebrating - and getting cancelled or fired for it - because
society cannot stand for this.

On the right, most of us are seeing the fact that we are dealing with a group
who refuses to coexist with the rest of us.  We now see that there will be no
peaceful end to this.

The far left must be expelled from our society.  They are not just "crazy and
annoying" anymore.  They are "crazy and dangerous".

It used to be that if a far leftist screamed in my face, I would simply walk
away.  Now if that happens, I must treat him like the rabid animal that he is.
