AFAIK you have to get a certain number of signatures to get your name on a ballot. That shouldn't cost anything, but I don't know what the exact procedure is for collecting the signatures; I assume there's a special form to use and it seems like the names in the signatures would have to be verifiable somehow. I'm in no position to ask those questions to the elitist who runs the Republican Committee, but I will encourage other to do so.

I'm hoping that Trump puts his foot up a lot of butts in New York. I emailed Linda McMahon's office about the DEI still in place in my school district. I ended the email with "The left thrives on other peoples' money, so please take it away from them."

Yea I'm in love with 1980s - 1990s New York. When we lived in New Mexico I kept telling my wife how much "better things are in New York" but by the time we moved here the state made a liar out of me.

I wouldn't harass them "while they're eating dinner with their families" like Maxine calls for, but I look forward to opportunities to call them out at public events.
