Well I don’t have the hardware to run a bbs. I’m not fooling around in windows again and the last time I had a board. I got thrashed by other sysops for asking questions. It was heavily modified too. You can say well use Linux and buy a cheap pc. I could do that, but to me it’s not worth the trouble and flak I took for asking questions. To answer your question though, basic curiosity and it fascinates me. Too bad the internet ruined/killed the BBs scene. The internet did some good things for bbsing, but it also killed it at the same time. .
