Subj : Message Deletion Event

Is there some kind of event to wire up when a message is deleted?  I've been
working on synchronizing the message bases to an external db and caching
system for web usage, it would be nice to get an event if a message is 
deleted so that that deletion can be sync'd immediately without a full rescan
of the message base(s).
