HG>TW> Thae you gone into "TOOLS" - "ACCOUNT SETTINGS" and in the middle of HG>TW> that page put a check mark next to the "Automaticly Download New HG>TW> Messages" line ??? I went into Tools and chose Account settings, but didn't find that "Automatically Download New messages" anywhere. There is however another way that Mark Lewis taught me. Down in the left corner there is an icon telling you about connecting to my host, mail server and other things. Clicking on that icon gives me a choice of downloading new messages before going off-line, even if I have already clicked on "Get messages". You see, with this Mobile Internet, I'm not constantly on-line. HG>BTW, I really miss ZoneAlarm that works so nicely in my XPp laptops, TW> I was a ZoneAlarm lover too. TW> I am now using the Free COMODO firewall. give it a try OK, tnx for the hint, I'll find it. Dunno if it's necessary when running AVG, but the small messages that ZA gave when some program wanted to connect to their parent company, for upgrades or whatever was comforting.
