Subj : Synchronet BBS stopped connecting to FSXnet suddenly! This could mean that the binkp.net f.n.z host (I believe it is hosted in Fidonet zone 2) was down. To be honest, I never thought it was a good idea to rely on this for anything. Making direct links to the systems you want to connect to is a much better method. Sometimes it's not Synchronet BBS's fault. You're connecting to other systems that may have issues as well. Avon mentioned he was going to be away for a couple weeks, whether it be personal or business, but it's quite possible his system stopped answering, or his DNS provider was down for 24 hours, or the binkp.net thing was down. There's many reasons, but it probably wasn't your system that was the problem. It's not always you and/or the system you're running. Sometimes you need to just be patient and wait for things to clear up on it's own. Regards, Nick .... Take my advice, I don't use it anyway. --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderb * Origin: The Pharcyde ~ telnet://bbs.pharcyde.org (Wisconsin) (1:154/10) þ Synchronet þ Vertrauen þ Home of Synchronet þ [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net .
