I was excited to hear Solderpunk announce OFFLFIRSOCH 2025 and as I missed the chance to participate in previous events I figured this was the one for me. As a busy person, (just like all the rest of you) with family, work and other commitments I immediately struggled to find a candidate for something to build. But I fought through the procrastination/difficulty and am participating and have been working on something for a couple of days - not leaving me much time. Its not going to be exciting or maybe even useful to anyone but me (and I'm not going to reveal what I'm up to just yet). I had to decide whether to do it at all and this was easy, the mission is something that means a lot to me, more effective computation and use of the power grid, more intentionality. I then had to decide what to do and this was not so easy. I don't get time to code much these days sadly and I have so many ideas for projects. One thing that helped was seeing if I could help with one of those other projects. Unfortunately for me I am already committed to a Spanish course during March (timing!). But I've turned this to my advantage... so by entry will be something to do with learning Spanish :-) Details will follow per the challenge instructions in the form of a post outlining what I have done, pointing to some no doubt awful code!
