# Air Castle

I recently did some data gathering, mangling, and coding
and made a website that lists downloadable issues of various
magazines, mostly in the short-speculative-fiction space. If
you like short fiction sci-fi, fantasy, horror, etc. you may
find something up your alley. All of the magazines are free
via the publishers. My site does not host images or issues,
just a json file I made and a php file. Everything is legal
and above board (not really an issue for me, but is for many
folks).

Most of the magazines release as PDF files, which is not my
favorite format. A few do epub or the like ( including my
magazine: https://hearthstories.org ).

I made the site because it is hard to find free content that
is not in the form of a blog (something I am not as interested
in). Most magazines that release as a document charge for it.
I dug through around 400 magazines and visited their websites
to find the ones that fit my criterea. There were a few that
offered free issues as a file, but did not have cover images
for them, and I have not added those yet. But likely will
eventually.
