A new year already?                                           03/13/26

I can't believe I haven't posted this  year, and it's March. I have my
reasons, of  course, common  stories of  a common  life. That's  not a
complaint at  all, I'm happy to  have a more common  life recently. By
that I simply  mean, I'm glad to share some  of the common experiences
that my fellowman has had and that I've seen, but not felt for myself.
It helps me understand others.

Not  to be  cryptic, but  I don't  really want  to share  the stories.
Hardship and pain, struggle and  anxiety, loss, waiting and hoping and
watching things  unfold. Health  and growing  up and  everything else.
Like I said, common life.

I'm feeling  good today. I prayed  for that, and it  worked. I usually
talk about  spiritual stuff in the  umbra section of the  phlog, but I
don't feel inclined to  segment it out today. Oh, and I  sat next to a
fellow  on a  plane ride  recently,  we chatted  about philosophy  and
religion for the entire trip. I've only ever done that with someone on
a plane once  before, back in 1998. I think  most people wouldn't want
it, but he seemed to. He was Catholic, and was holding a book on Greek
philosophy, which I asked him  about. It was a wonderful conversation,
and we exchanged emails and phone numbers at the end. He lives in STL,
and I'll go visit him sometime and check out the cathedral there.

That's all for now. I just  wanted to say hello, and thank Gopherspace
