Yeah, it's about God (zaibatsu), 04/30/2019

I present two opposing statements for your consideration:

 1. I choose to believe in God, and will try to accept what 
    God teaches and asks.

 OR

 2. I'll believe in God, if God teaches what I want to 
    believe, and asks what I'm willing to give.

I'll add this personal statement of a certain belief, 
indicating my own thoughts on the choice to believe in God 
and what that means:

    No one may demand that I beleive what they say, or that 
    I believe in a book, or any other earthly thing. I have 
    the right and priviledge of knowing God myself, 
    independant of anyone else, and believing what I learn
    directly from God. If God tells me that a person or a
    book is correct, then I must believe. 

    God is all powerful, and can certainly give me a direct 
    answer, I don't need to rely on any person or thing for 
    that. People who demand that I rely on their word or on
    a book, removing God from the equation, are robbing me
    and denying the supreme power of God.

    Everyone has these same rights; I can not demand that
    anyone believe me, or a book that I hand them. Instead,
    God must work with them directly. I am in no way fit to
    take over that role.

Potentially offensive, I suppose, but no offense is 
intended. I am curious what others thing about the above 
statements.
