# Doing The GOWNPONIE // 25-1-20

With the large country across the big pond now having entered its
era of being led by the Great Fueh^WFelon, I've thought about
the unhealthy habit of reading bad news over and over again.

It might be worth trying to focus on more personal and technical
subjects for a change, and so I've decided to start my GOWNPONIE:
my Gopher-Or-Weekly-News-Paper-Only News Ingestion Experiment.

Therefore until at least February 28, I will try to consume only
my weekly newspapers and smolnet gopherhole (or Gemini and similar
system's) contents, but no electronic newsfeeds, radio, tv or
websites. Which means I also have to hibernate my RSS feeds.
I'll keep messenger services though, for direct interactions.

Hope this will reduce my bad feelings about the state of the world
to a saner level!
