# ed wrappers/extensions // 19-2-17

katolaz has a [post][1] about a gopher client using ed
as text interface. This is a nice idea, and it reminded
me about my [edcsh][2] project where I tried to make a
portable wrapper script to extend ed with additional
commands, which could in the end have been a combination
of my [nago][3] and [wrapdc][4] scripts. Unfortunately
I ran into problems (see the README in the edcsh repo),
and so this project is stalled.

Perhaps katolaz' solution is the way to go?

And I should install some script to automatically explain what
is on the Dome as git repos; perhaps using solderpunk's
[gitpher][5] tool?
