# Ryumin's Dome Reviewed // 18-12-14

The [dome][1] still works and does not seem to be overrun ^-^
neither to have too many blatant flaws/bugs, fortunately.
Admittedly I was expecting a bit more interest, but probably
the user base at the intersection of gopher aficionados and
git fans is simply not huge...

I got a nice message from T.S. telling me I might want to look
into the port forwarding feature of SSH -- good hint, and thanks
again for spotting this! It's certainly rather a bad idea to
allow everybody from the internet to use an anonymous login for
hopping/tunneling elsewhere, which I simply forgot to remember!

I've added some code to the gigof init script blocking any port
forwarding; not very elegant, but effective. I might think
about improving the relevant `sshd_config` section so that
only the `new` account is blocked from forwarding. However,
this feature is not needed for the dome's core functionality.
