# Heartbeat, or: Still Alive // 18-11-03 I've been rather inactive recently, on gopher, for several reasons. At work, we've got a lot to do: from HR issues, to problems with the ultrapure water supply (and all the other small things, from empty gas bottles to careless users), and the desire of a lot of people to use our new toy (a [direct laser writer][1] tool which allows to transfer arbitrary patterns with micrometer size resolution into photoresist) which forced me to somewhat prematurely give introductions to its use. At home, everything's quite fine, but nevertheless busy, from our own planning for remodeling some rooms to helping the older kid with all things school (needs to get organized better -- self-management is the buzzword).. well, I don't want to bore anyone to death! And then there is quite some activity going on in circumlunar.space, with ideas flying back and forth about programming in CBMBASIC, setting up shared directories for development, etc. At least I've managed to code a bit recently, which is really satisfying! Now I just should get back into more activity for ham radio, Morse etc... But first, let's fetch the little one from that birthday party! .:. PS: This post was not written with `ed` but `vi` -- sorry! ^-^ [1]: https://himt.de/index.php/dwl66.html
