Airplane Mode

I was walking from my parents' home last evening toward a bus station when
I heard an emergency notification on my smarthone, that an alarm is coming 
soon.
The alarm came later, and later a phone call from whom if not from mom.
I fucking hate those phone calls because of alarms. They are always the
same, and I don't like the question if I'm next to a secure space.
Later, I heard another notification, so I decided to switch to airplane
mode because I don't want another phone call to bother me.

There's a bus stop nearby, but I have to wait some tens of minutes till the
bus comes, so I decided to use my OsmAnd app to find my way to a trunk road
where buses pass more frequently.

Took me about 40 minutes to get to that station.

And of course, I'm not going to create myself a Reddit aoount to ask it I am
the asshole for switchinhg to airplane mode.
