COVID Nostalgia, Birthdays ========================== The o$ther day I listened to another episode of Build For Tomorrow[1], this time, the episode name was "Why Covid Nostalgia is... Good?". [https://pdst.fm/e/chrt.fm/track/78333/traffic.megaphone.fm/ADV4338591757.mp3?updated=1624562306] I can uderstand it because I miss the good things. During the lockdowns many activities were forbidden, but I've found that most of those activities were things I have to do (in normal days) and not things I want to do. Here's something I have to do always: performing some birthday-related tasks. Birthdays are the last thing I care about, and today's my nephew's b-day. I went to a gift shop yesterday to buy some shit he may like. It takes some time to find a gift which is both great and affordable, but I did iti and that's it. Maybe, I will even call to say "happy birthday". [1] https://www.jasonfeifer.com/
