Disroot's Content Sharing with Chat =================================== I recently added the Disroot app to my smartphone. The simplest app is its pastebin where you can type plain text, code and markdown document, optionally add chat, and create a link to your text. The text you create is encrypted. People who get the link can read the text, but the publisher decides when the content expires. Another one is the Cryptpad, where you can create documents on the cloud like in Google Docs. Disroot looks like a suite that can replace Google, but the Cryptpad has a little bug in it: in some cases when you want to scroll a document up, the tool reloads the page again. You need a workaround to prevent the reload. And, for the following tools, no accounts are required: - Etherpad - Ethercalc - Private bin - Upload - Searx - Diaspora (only requires a Diaspora account) Unfortunately, all notifications from the app are blocked, and for uploading files you better use a web-browser because Disroot does not have a file access permission.
