The Registered Mail Challenge ============================= Nowadays, we don't need to stand in lines to send registered mail. At least in my country people can send it from home using the post company's web-site. I decided a couple of days ago to disconnect my self from the gas company, and found that the best way to do it is by sending a signed letter by registered mail. So, I prepared a PDF file using AbiWord, a word processor that can be installed on Termux. Then, I used Librera to add my signature to the document. But, the file was found invalid when I tried to upload it to the post company's web-site. I found that my Galaxy offers a PDF reader, and that reader can also print files to PDF. There's a good reason for that: some PDF files are composed of layers, and thus are not printed correctly. So, printing puts everything in one layer. Yeah, the new generated file was found valid this time. The next step is to fill out the revipient's details. Took me some time to fill out the POB successfully, and get the zip code. The next step is to pay by credit card. That was easy, but at the end of all the process I had to pass some Captcha tests in order to complete the process: twice to click pictures with bycycles and once to click pictures with fire hydrants. So, going to a post office with a hard copy seems better to me.
