Supporting a Monopoly

I don't really like supporting monopolies but I did it recently.
First because I had the APKPure app installed on my Android Phone.
It is full of ads and some apps are offered in the XAPK format, which is
a pain for Xiaomi users who should disable Xiaomi optimization to install
them. So, I wrote to my Mastodon feed:

  Google Play wouldn't do it to you.

Later, I read something about Windows 10's full-screen popup messages
to remind them to upgrade to Windows 11 [1], which means maybe to buy a new
computer. So, I recommended to upgrade the computer to a Mac.
Thus, I suay that Apple deserves to be a monopoly.

I prefer Linux, anyways, but don't know many people who will switch to that
system.
