They're Going to Destroy Our Casual Joy

I remember enjoying Eric Clapton's music, but these days I read on the
news that Eric Clapton shows in a video pics of children from Gaza, but not
Iraeli children.
And now we have that actress, Susan Sarandon, I remember from the horrorshow
movie "the Rocky Horror Picture Show". She sides the Palestinians, too.
I think about the following lines from the Doors' song, Strange Days:

  They're going to destroy
  our casual joy

That's right: I still want to enjoy books, music, movies, etc. without 
destroying the casual joy with thoughts about antisemetism.


Now, two members of the Doors died before the war on Gaza, and I hope
I will not hear that the remaining two are against us.
