WhatsApp Crashes

Today there was a malfunction of WhatsApp on iPhones. Such crashes are
good news because where I live almost everyone uses it. If you want to
be a member of communities, you better use WhatsApp. Free will is dead.
I am a member of an NPO that uses WhatsApp to send messages and schedule
activities. They barely ever sends e-mails. 
There are other apps and protocols, such as Telegram, Matrix, XMPP. I
don't understand people who insist on using WhatsApp. Matrix and XMPP
are even decentralize, and I see a norm of using bridges to Matrix or
XMPP if you use Telegram. But, in my country, most of the organization
use WhatsApp only. 
Please stop forcing people to use WhatsApp!
